The Energy C-ST speaker stands will accommodate virtually any brand or size of bookshelf or satellite speaker. The attractive maple / silver colors complement nearly any décor, and electronics products.Contrary to popular belief, most bookshelf speakers are really not designed to be used on a bookshelf. For optimum sound, most speaker manufacturers recommend that their speakers be placed at least twelve to eighteen inches from a back wall, preferably in free-space with no side barriers within eighteen to twenty-four inches. Not all listening environments allow this type of placement, but when possible it is best to position the speakers with these parameters in mind. That is where the Energy C-ST stands enter the picture. When you are seated in your listening area, these rugged, attractive, 25-inch tall speaker stands place the speakers around ear level for optimum listening.The hollow tubular support shafts are a medium silver-finished metal. The maple colored base is constructed of wood (MDF), and the pedestals are black metal. There are ¾ inch clips on the rear of the center pole for wire management, and optional spiked feet are included. Energy Speaker Systems C-ST Connoisseur Stands are designed for the C-1 and C-3 bookshelf speakers. The C-ST ensures that these speakers look and sound their best. These stands place the speakers at the perfect height for the best sound. Standing 25-inches in height, the CS-Ts provide wire management via two 0.75-inch clips on the rear of the aluminum center pole. The base is manufactured from MDF and is finished in Canadian Maple vinyl. Spikes and rubber bump-ons are also supplied to facilitate use on any type of flooring.
